RBC provides $20,000 to A Clear View

East Kootenay Foundation for Health has had the pleasure over the years to share the good fortune bestowed upon the foundation from funding grants compliments of the RBC Foundation.  This year is an extra special opportunity as the current corporate gift of $20,000 from RBC for the A Clear View ~ digital mammography campaign has also taken the fundraising efffort to a major milestone of over $608,000 toward the $1 million goal.

Maureen Foxworthy, RBC Branch Manager (Cranbrook) shares, “I am not only proud to make this donation on behalf of RBC, I am personally moved with the campaign itself.   Having just moved here from Kamloops, I have firsthand knowledge of the benefits of digital stereotactic mammography  and it is something absolutely critical for our regional hospital to have.”

Joining in the milestone presentation was Sue Selby who has put her experiences and face behind the campaign.   “I was so thrilled to be involved with this milestone presentation because I know this type of equipment will make such a difference.   The donation by RBC and many other donors is truly remarkable and so exciting for the overall campaign,”  says Selby.
