Thumbs up for SunMine
The SunMine is a big, clear yes with City of Kimberley voters.
In a Nov. 19 referendum asking: “Are you in favour of the City of Kimberley adopting Bylaw No. 2429, ‘The SunMine Project Loan Authorization Bylaw, No. 2429, 2011’ to authorize the City to borrow an amount up to Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000) to construct the SunMine Project – a Grid-Connected Solar Photovoltaic Power Plant with a 1 Mega Watt Peak (MWp) capacity?”, a total of 2,114 voters said ‘yes,’ while 646 said ‘no.’
