Employee Bill of Rights will be introduced to Canada in Cranbrook

The College of the Rockies will be presenting a free course at the Cranbrook Campus on February 8.

The new course? Rights and Responsibilities: You the Employee, You the Employer.

Join this free, lively and informative discussion on labour rights and responsibilities in the workplace with Employee Advocate Bev Campbell. Find out more about your role as an employee or employer, and understand your importance to the business stakeholder trio of owner, customer and staff. The instructor will touch on a wealth of hot topics including ‘Employee Bill of Rights, Employment Standards Act , hiring, firing, and loving or hating your job.’

Become an active and educated player in achieving a satisfying workplace for yourself and others.

The course is on Wednesday Feb. 8 from 7-9 p.m. Advance registration required.
