Kootenay Christian Academy hosted its annual Ready, Set, Learn event.  Children were able to spend time in the kindergarten classroom with a kindergarten buddy to help them make a craft.  They also enjoyed a story and a visit from the tooth fairy.  Janessa, a kindergarten student, is showing the bracelet she made with her buddy.  Children were also able to take home a bag filled with educational goodies including a book.  While the children were busy, parents were treated to refreshments in the library, a tour of the school, and a lot of information from various KCA personnel, a public health nurse, a speech specialist, and other community organization members.  If you would like more information about KCA, please call 250 426 0166 or visit our website www.kcacademy.ca.
