The Kootenay Christian Academy is raising funds to help send Grade 9 students to Alabama.

Fittingly, the school is hosting the Sweets Home Alabama fundraiser on February 17 from 6:45- 9 p.m.

The evening will be a Dessert Night and a Silent Auction will also help the students raise funds for their mission trip to Alabama.

Drama students will perform skits and music will be by Dean Smith.

The fundraiser is at the New Life Four Square Church at 308 10th Ave. Tickets are $10 each
