Library/Sunrise Rotary holding annual Fall Book Sale
The Friends of the Cranbrook Public Library and the Sunrise Rotary Club are currently in the midst of their Annual Fall Book Sale.
This sale is at the Tembec Gym, opposite the Library, running from Sept. 28 to Oct. 2. The first day of the sale (Wed. Sept. 28) was for members only and a $10 membership to the Friends could be purchased at the door. They also received a 10% discount on their purchases.
Doors open daily at 9:30 a.m. and will close at 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The sale is open for late night shopping on Thursday, Sept. 29, until 9 p.m..
Don’t miss out on the Sunday Bag Sale. For $5 you will receive a reusable bag and can fill it up with book sale items. Sunday times are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
All money raised is split evenly between the two groups. The Friends use their portion to purchase new books for the Library. The Sunrise Rotary Club supports various community projects.
Donations of books, DVDs, videos, and CDs for all ages can be dropped off at the circulation desk of the Library and will be used for this sale.
