Wasa Fun Daze this weekend
Wasa Fun Daze 2012 is taking place this Saturday (May 26) in the Wasa Lions Park.
A pancake breakfast (9 a.m. to 11 a.m.) kicks off a day of events, including the annual parade, bocce tournament, horseshoes, children’s games booths, free train rides and a jumping castle.
In addition, the free admission event features a food concession, refreshment garden, live entertainment, the Wasa Waddle, chicken poop bingo, vendors and a dance at the Wasa Hall beginning at 8 p.m.
In addition, there is a mixed slo-pitch ball tournament beginning Friday and ending Sunday.
