Spring Burke is a violinist, pianist, and music teacher residing in Invermere BC. She has a Master of Music Degree(University of Victoria) in Violin Performance as well as a BMUS (Memorial University of Newfoundland), an AVCM(Victoria Conservatory of Music) in performance and teaching, and a Performance Diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. Spring currently plays with Symphony of the Kootenays, but has also played with the Prince George Symphony, Galiano Ensemble, Newfoundland Symphony and Sinfonia, and the Sooke Philharmonic. Spring has been teaching music both privately and in schools for the past 18 years.
Tim Plait is a familiar face on the East Kootenay music scene. He leads an active professional life as an accompanist and collaborative player for music festivals and classical music examinations, pianist in the jazz ensemble Take 4,principal pianist for the Symphony of the Kootenays, and as a community and church musician. He also enjoys arranging and composing music. Tim is a graduate of the Victoria Conservatory of Music Diploma program (Piano Performance, Piano Teaching, and Accompanying) and currently teaches piano and theory in Kimberley and Cranbrook. |
