Cranbrook RCMP Report
The following is a synopsis of calls received by Cranbrook RCMP for the week (from 6 a.m.) April 11 to 6 a.m., April 18.
The detachment received 140 calls for service throughout that period.
Among the calls police handled:
Two Immediate Roadside Prohibition issued (alcohol)/ two 24 hour prohibitions (alcohol/cannabis).
Three collisions – one was elk strike/ two collisions non fatal; injury.
14 Mental Health calls – Five apprehended.
Four Assault complaints: One domestic in nature.
Five thefts reported: one shoplifting/ one attempted theft of subwoofer/ one theft from vehicle and one theft of vehicle later found to be false; one theft of an iPhone.
Three drug seizures – three marijuana seizures.
