BC Transit holding info event
Transit is a vital component to a thriving city.
Yet, ridership remains a constant concern in the City of Cranbrook as BC Transit and the city continue to seek ways to engage the population to take advantage of the service more often.
With that in mind, BC Transit is hosting a free information event aimed at making the use of public transit in Cranbrook easier.
The event will be held on a BC Transit bus on Wednesday, August 14, starting at the Joseph Creek Village Retirement Community at 1901 Willowbrook Drive at 1:35 p.m. The event will end back at Joseph Creek Village at 2:55 p.m.
The event will provide tips to those participants on how to read and understand the transit schedule, plan a trip around the city and transfer between buses.
