Boil water notice lifted by city
The boil water notice, in place since Wednesday morning for most of south Cranbrook has officially been lifted.
Water samples taken as part of the water system construction work earlier this week have come back clear from the provincial lab.
Residents may return to using their water service as normal immediately.
The boil water notice was enacted early Wednesday morning, following the water system replacement project at the City of Cranbrook’s pressure reducing station #2 on 14th Avenue South overnight on Tuesday.
The City of Cranbrook thanks everyone who was affected by this work and subsequent boil water notice for their patience and understanding during this time.
