Booth re-elected in Area F
Wendy Booth will return for a third term as Director for Electoral Area F in the Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK).
Booth earned 396 votes compared to challenger Andrea Dunlop, who captured 252 votes.
While Booth is a seasoned director, there is a new face heading to the regional government. Electoral Area B is now represented by Stan Doehle, who captured 351 votes to Morgan Dilts’ 264 votes.
Electoral Area A Director Mike Sosnowski won a third straight term by acclamation.
Electoral Area E Director Jane Walter won a fourth straight term by acclamation.
Electoral Area G Director Gerry Wilkie won a fourth straight term by acclamation.
