Wearing a colourful shirt that stated “Heave Steve 2015,” NDP candidate for Kootenay-Columbia Wayne Stetski (centre) and his election team welcomed dozens of supporters and visitors last night at the opening of their campaign headquarters in Cranbrook.

People from all over the recently enlarged riding attended the campaign office opening at 1325B-Cranbrook St. North.

The federal election is being held Oct. 19.
