Candidates’ forum already scheduled
It may seem like a long way off but there is no substitute for planning ahead.
The Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce announced last week it is holding an All-Candidates Forum on Oct. 7 for federal election candidates in the Kootenay-Columbia riding.
The forum will be part of a Special Chamber Luncheon on Wednesday, October 7 at the Heritage Inn, said chamber executive director David D Hull.
“We will be implementing an innovative and engaging format that I am confident you will find practical and effective. We are asking that the candidates be at the hotel no later than 11 a.m. and plan to be in attendance until 2 p.m.,” Hull said in a notice to chamber members.
The federal election is being held on Oct. 19.
