Children a priority for EK Shrine Club 4

Members of the East Kootenay Shrine Club (No. 4) took a recent opportunity to invite East Kootenay Foundation for Health’s Donna Grainger down to tour the Shriners Hospitals for Children Care Canada bus. The bus can be seen many times travelling through the East Kootenay on its way to deliver children to either the Spokane Shriners’ or BC Children’s Hospitals.

While on site the regional Shrine Club gave EKFH an extra surprise with a donation of $3,500 to help purchase a paediatric vital signs monitor for the East Kootenay Regional Hospital.

This and many of the generous donations over the several years has resulted in the Shriners donating over $22,000 to health care through the foundation for patients in the East Kootenay.
