City seeks community insight and perceptions on branding
Survey now available for community residents and visitors
The City of Kimberley is strengthening their brand and calling on members of the community to provide feedback, insight and perceptions of Kimberley.

“Our brand is our story: it’s who we are, what we do, how we do things, our attitudes and our shared vision. As with many communities, Kimberley experiences some challenges in communicating our story and articulating our vision, which is why we’re strengthening our brand,” said Kevin Wilson, the City of Kimberley’s Economic Development Officer.
“This is a process that takes time, but one of our first priorities is to listen to the community. Kimberley’s brand is the story of our people, and we want to ensure we’re clear what the community’s desired perceptions are before we begin to strengthen the story and develop tools that help us tell it best.”
The City of Kimberley has posted two surveys, one for Kimberley residents, and one for visitors or people outside the community.
Residents can fill out the survey online at www.KimberleySurvey.com, and visitors can fill out the survey online at www.KimberleyVisitorSurvey.com
For those unable to fill out the survey online, printed copies of the survey can be acquired at City Hall at 340 Spokane St, and can be dropped off at City Hall upon completion.
For those interested in learning more about the branding process, a branding information session will be held on November 20, at 7:30 p.m. at Centennial Hall.
There will be a presentation discussing what a brand is and why it’s valuable to a community, as well as an opportunity for questions regarding the process.
