Drivers and pedestrians are advised of construction occurring at the crosswalk on Victoria Avenue and 4^th Street North, in front of the Save-on-Foods property.

City Public Works has removed the old amber flashing sidewalk lights in order to install large over-street crosswalk signs and lights in order to better improve safety and visibility for those using the crosswalk.

However, the crosswalk is now uncontrolled for the duration of the construction work, which could take up to two weeks to complete.

Motorists using Victoria Avenue are strongly encouraged to please slow down when approaching that crosswalk and closely watch for any pedestrians.
