Coroners identify motorcycle incident victim
The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after a motorcycle incident near Kimberley on Tuesday, June 10.
He is John Robert Williams, aged 45. Mr. Williams is a resident of Guelph, Ontario, but had most recently been working in the Kimberley area.
Mr. Williams was the operator of a motorcycle that was heading southbound on Highway 95A at about 3:30 p.m. on June 10, when he lost control and left the highway about one kilometre north of the Forest Creek Subdivision Road in Marysville, about 10 kilometres from Kimberley. Mr. Williams was deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP East Kootenay Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.
