Cranbrook man arrested on 23 counts of break, enter and theft
The Cranbrook RCMP arrested a 49-year-old Cranbrook male last week with regards to the current rash of business break and enters that have been reported in the East Kootenay area over the past two months.
Police are continuing the investigation but at the present time, Crown Counsel have approved 23 counts of break, enter and theft charges against this male for offences committed in Cranbrook, Creston, Fernie and Sparwood.
This male made his first court appearance last Friday, May 25 at Cranbrook Provincial Court house. An update will be forthcoming.
