Cranbrook RCMP arrest US fugitive wanted by FBI
A sharp-eyed off duty Cranbrook RCMP officer’s lead led to the arrest Sunday of a man who is wanted by the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and also for an immigration warrant in Canada.
On November 22, at approximately 3:15 p.m., an off duty Cranbrook RCMP member spotted a male known to be wanted on a Canadian immigration warrant.
The 28-year-old male, identified as Keir Anthony Grosse-Rhode, was taken into custody by on duty Cranbrook RCMP members without incident. Grosse-Rhode is facing charges in Canada and is also wanted in the United States by the FBI.
