Cranbrook RCMP Report
The following is a synopsis of calls received by Cranbrook RCMP for the week of (6 a.m.) Feb. 22 to 6 a.m., Feb. 29.
The detachment received 120 calls for service throughout the week.
Among the calls police handled:
Six for Immediate Roadside prohibitions (alcohol);
Three collisions – all relatively minor;
Eight Mental Health calls with seven apprehended in total;
Six assault complaints: one domestic in nature;
Seven theft (mostly shoplifting)/ frauds reported;
Five drug seizures – mostly marijuana and one cocaine seizure.
