Cranbrook RCMP Report
The following is a synopsis of calls received by Cranbrook RCMP for the week (from 6 a.m.) March 29 to 6 a.m., April 4.
The detachment received 111 calls for service throughout that period.
Among the calls police handled:
Two Immediate Roadside Prohibition issued (alcohol).
Four Collisions – Two Hit and Run with no suspects/ one Collision resulted in a driver being impaired and issued an immediate roadside prohibition and Motor Vehicle Act Charge/ none of the accidents resulted in any injury.
Seven Mental Health Act calls – one apprehended.
One assault complaint; domestic in nature.
Seven thefts reported.
Four vehicles reported stolen: One was recovered shortly after being reported; one ended up being unfounded and two are still outstanding. Other thefts are minor in nature.
Two break and enters reported – both to shed/garage.
