Stolen ATV
On February 3, 1t 1:53 a.m., Cranbrook RCMP received a report that a theft was in progress involving an orange 2009, Arctic Cat Prowler ATV. RCMP members were dispatched to the 1800 block of Mount Castle Crescent.
Officers approached the location from several directions, however, the ATV was not located. The caller advised that the quad just been stolen and her husband had gone after the thief. From evidence at the scene it appears there was only one person involved in the theft. The owner had the ATV keys in the house and the ATV had been chained on the trailer before the theft occurred.
The owners were awakened by their dog barking then the loud noise of the ATV’s engine. The value of the stolen ATV is $15,000.
