Death investigation continues
The RCMP Southeast District Major Crimes Unit and the BC Coroners Service are continuing their investigation into the death of Cory Jarock, age 30, of Invermere.
Jarock’s body was found on a driveway in Invermere’s Tunnecliffe Heights on April 3.
An autopsy was conducted at the Penticton Regional Hospital on April 4, and the Investigators and BC Coroners await completed results.
On Tuesday, April 3, B.C. Ambulance and the Colombia Valley RCMP responded to a call of a man down in the 1100 block of 5th Ave, Invermere. A male located at the scene was found dead.
Information to date indicates that Jarock had been evicted from a drinking party the previous evening and was found by the residents of the property the next morning in the driveway of the property, when B.C. Ambulance responded to a call of a man down in the 1100 block of 5th Ave.
The police are continuing their investigation into the death and are actively seeking to speak to all persons at the party to determine the circumstances surrounding the death of Mr. Jarock.
