Deer cull protest planned for Monday
Members of the B.C. Deer Protection Coalition (BCDPC) and local citizens against the City of Cranbrook’s proposed 30-deer cull will be holding a protest/rally to raise awareness and provide education to the community that the culls are wrong, for so many reasons.
We support non-lethal methods and want to help educate the public on why culling is inhumane and does not work, plus on urban deer safety.
The rally/protest will be held on Feb.25 at noon in front of Cranbrook City Hall.
We will be holding a peaceful protest, to let Mayor Wayne Stetski and council know that we oppose this senseless killing and wasting of taxpayer dollars.
People attending and those unable to attend but support our cause are asked to wear green.
