Dix also heading to Elk Valley
The Kootenay East NDP Constituency Association wants the public to know that party leader Adrian Dix will be making stops in Fernie and Sparwood next weekend.

As part of a tour of the East Kootenay, Leader of the Opposition Adrian Dix will be spending November 10 in Fernie and Sparwood. The public will get the opportunity to meet Dix and newly nominated NDP candidate Norma Blissett.
“It is an honour to have Adrian Dix visit Fernie and Sparwood,” said Blissett. “I encourage everyone to drop in to the Fernie Arts Station for this chance to talk with our next Premier.”
Dix and Blissett will be at the Fernie Arts Station between 11a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Admission is by donation, and light refreshments will be served. While in the Elk Valley, Dix and Blissett will also be attending a number of meetings in Fernie and Sparwood including a reception hosted by USW Local 9346.
