Early morning fire scorches travel trailer
At 3:35 a.m. on March 18 the Cranbrook Fire and Emergency Services received a 911 call reporting of a travel trailer on fire at 2305 1st St S.
Upon arrival responding firefighters found the travel trailer fully involved and threatening the two adjacent residences. The crew on scene was able to extinguish the trailer before it spread to either residence. The fire damage to both homes was kept to a minimum due to a quick discovery by the owner and a quick response time. One engine and four firefighters responded to the incident.
The fire is currently under investigation and more details will be available upon completion of the investigation.
Damages to the trailer and two residences were estimated at $30,000.
