Electoral area town hall meetings schedule released
In a bid to keep regional electoral area residents informed and engaged, the Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) is planning a series of town hall meetings over the course of the start of 2012.
Everyone is invited to attend the RDEK Town Hall Meetings, with topics ranging from agriculture and secondary suites to RVs and fire service.
“We’ll be talking about all kinds of interesting topics. Each agenda will be different,” said RDEK communications director Loree Duczek. “There will be presentations and a time at each Town Hall Meeting for general questions.”
The first of the meetings, slated to run in January and February, is Jan. 16 at the Brisco Community Hall
