Elk Valley RCMP searching for missing three-year-old child

The Elk Valley RCMP is currently searching for three-year-old Kienan Hebert of Sparwood, reported missing from the family home this morning, Wednesday, September 7.
Kienan is described as having short blond hair, wearing ‘Scooby Doo’ cartoon boxer shorts and may be carrying up to three blankets with him. Kienan exited the family home sometime overnight and was discovered missing this morning at 8:30 a.m. The Hebert’s reside in the Sparwood Heights area just off of Hwy 43 North in Sparwood.
The Elk Valley RCMP immediately activated a search effort upon receiving the report, however Kienan has not been located to date. Local RCMP along with Search and Rescue, RCMP Air Services helicopter and a police service dog are involved in the ongoing search effort this time.
