Highway 93 expected to re-open later today
Highway 93 between Castle Junction and Radium Hot Springs, through Kootenay National Park, remains closed as of noon today (March 10).
Parks Canada Visitor Safety technicians have been conducting avalanche control since yesterday, and now highway maintenance personnel are in the process of clearing debris from the highway. The estimated time of reopening is Monday, March 10 at 4 p.m., with high confidence, reports Parks Canada.
