The Cranbrook and Kimberley United Way and the downtown Cranbrook business community have teamed up to provide free parking today – all with the eye to raise money.

Organizers of Park on Us, running today (Sept. 19) in Cranbrook, say the annual campaign and silent auction is bigger and better than even before.

This year’s parking meter set a new record, with meter sales totaling 527 and auction item total at 122, with total retail value over $6,200.

An invitation is extended to the community to attend Friday and the day promises to be sunny.
