Pavement illegally dumped on property
Two dump truck loads of pavement have been dumped on private property in Marysville. The owner of the property, located in the industrial area (315th Avenue) of Marysville, contacted Kimberley RCMP after finding the two loads on his property.
Inquires found that a black dump truck with white lettering entered the property on Saturday, April 25 between 5 and 6 p.m. and dumped the loads.
Kerry Murray, owner of Unique Windows & Solariums, said he is disappointed in the illegal dump of material on his property and is hopeful RCMP will track down the culprit(s).
“This incident has caused environmental damage and will be very costly to clean up and the person or persons responsible need to be held accountable for their actions,” he told e-KNOW.
Police are seeking witnesses who may know of the truck or had work done by a contractor and pavement hauled away, said Cpl. Chris Newel, Kimberley RCMP Detachment commander.
Please contact Kimberley RCMP at 250 427-4811 if you have any information.
