Peeking male sought by RCMP

Cranbrook RCMP is investigating a series of incidents where a male was observed peering at women through the windows of their homes.

The incidents were reported July 14 between 12:15 and 2 a.m. by three separate women. In two of the incidents, it is believed that he was fondling himself. When one woman went outside to investigate she encountered the subject who quickly ran off. All three incidents occurred between the 2000 to 2500 block from Kootenay Street to 12th Street, North.

According to RCMP, the subject male is described as male, 5’6 to 5’8 with a scrawny build, short black hair – neatly trimmed, thick brows, brown eyes with thick plastic rim glasses, some facial growth and child like hands, he spoke in a whisper – very soft, white, thinner lips and he is in his late teens to mid 20s.
RCMP are requesting of the public that if any similar incidents occur to please call 911 immediately and not confront the individual.
