Police round up home invasion suspects

Cranbrook RCMP is currently investigating a home invasion that occurred in the 2400 block of 3rd Street South just after 2 a.m. this morning (August 19).

Weapons were brandished (knife and baseball bat) but no one was injured in the incident. The suspects were known to the victim and police quickly determined the victim was targeted.

By 4 a.m., four young offenders were arrested and are currently in custody. They will appear in court today, all are facing charges of Break and Enter, two for Possession of a weapon and one for Fail to Comply with Conditions.
