Police search for hit and run driver
On January 29, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Cranbrook RCMP received a report of a hit and run on 7th Avenue at the intersection with 2nd Street South, Cranbrook.
The younger male suspect had been operating a silver car southbound on 7th Avenue when he turned into a northbound red Mazda causing damage to the driver’s side of the Mazda.
The driver fled east on 2nd Street and then south on 9th Avenue. The suspect vehicle should have light damage to the front bumper of his vehicle. The driver and lone occupant of the Mazda was not injured.
