Cranbrook RCMP investigators are asking the public to contact police if they have any information concerning this morning’s fatality accident on Gold Creek Road, south east of the city.

RCMP was called to a motor vehicle accident on Gold Creek Road shortly after 1 a.m. this morning. Initial reports indicate that the pickup truck was travelling northwest on Gold Creek Road. The truck went off road right and ended up striking a tree.

Once on scene it was determined that two young males had died as a result of the accident. A third young man has been transported to Calgary Foothills Hospital with serious injuries.

Police cannot speak to a cause/ contributing factors as this tragic incident continues to be investigated by Collision Analysts. Gold Creek Road was closed at the 42^nd Avenue South and 37th Street South area during the investigation.
