On Tuesday April 3, B.C. Ambulance responded to a call of a man down in the 1100 block of 5^th Avenue, Invermere. A male located at the scene was found dead.

The police investigation determined that the deceased, Cory Jarock, 30, of Invermere, had been evicted from a drinking party the previous evening and was found by the residents of the property the next morning in the driveway of the property, reported Columbia Valley RCMP Detachment NCO i/c S/Sgt Marko Shehovac.

Police are continuing their investigation into the death and are actively pursuing all persons at the party to determine the circumstances surrounding the death of Mr. Jarock.
