RCMP reminding public to be avalanche wise
Winter is fast approaching and British Columbia’s high country is already disappearing beneath the annual thick blanket of white.
As the snow piles up, high country sports enthusiasts begin to venture out on their snow machines or skis/snowboards. With that in mind RCMP wish to remind the public to please use available resources to find out about avalanche conditions and to ensure you are properly prepared before entering any of these areas this season, notes a provincial RCMP public release issued today (Nov. 16).
