The following is a summary of board motions carried during the Sept. 10 School District No. 5 (SD5) Board of Trustees’ meeting, held in Cranbrook.

Committee meetings are not typically held in June. Therefore, no motions coming out of committee were carried.

Motions Carried

General

– That the Board approve the Five Year Capital Plan Bylaw.

– That the Board approve the amended Capital Project Bylaw No. 126614 –Annual Facilities Grant, maximum expenditure of $1,038,268 (Three Readings).

– That the Board approve the Capital Project By-law Project No. 126556 –Carbon Neutral Capital Program, maximum expenditure of $9,765 (Three Readings).

– That the Board approve the 2013/2014 Student Achievement Contract.

– That the Technology Plan be posted on the main page of the SD5 website.
