Sparwood to be without power five hours Sunday morning
District of Sparwood and area residents take note: you will be without power for five hours this upcoming Sunday morning, August 21.
District officials announced this week that from 5 a.m. – 10 a.m on Sunday morning, BC Hydro will be making electrical system improvements in Sparwood. To ensure the safety of their work crews, it will be necessary to interrupt electrical service for approximately five hours. The area affected is all of Sparwood, and north on Highway 43 up to and including Bursato Road.
Please protect all sensitive equipment. BC Hydro recognizes the inconvenience this may cause, and will restore service safely and as efficiently as possible. Shorten restoration time during a power outage by switching lights and electrical equipment off.
