At approximately 11:15 a.m. February 24, a concerned citizen attended the Cranbrook RCMP Detachment to advise of a suspicious vehicle parked outside the police office.

The citizen advised that a male was deceased inside the vehicle.

Cranbrook RCMP closed 11th Avenue South from Baker Street to 2nd Street South while police conducted their investigation.

Police located a male in his 60s deceased in the front seat of the vehicle. Foul play is not suspected and Cranbrook RCMP and the B.C. Coroner’s office continue to investigate.
