Two more drug arrests in Cranbrook
A man and a woman, both 50, were arrested in different incidents in Cranbrook last week and are now facing drug charges, report Cranbrook/Kimberley RCMP.
On Nov 20, police entered into a drug investigation that led to the arrest of a 50-year-old Moyie resident. Upon arrest police seized two grams of cocaine. The woman is facing charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.
On Nov 21, a search warrant was obtained after police gathered sufficient evidence that a male was involved in the drug trade. Police obtained the warrant to enter a motel room on the Cranbrook strip where they arrested a 50-year-old male. Police seized a small quantity of drugs along with drug paraphernalia. Charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance are being recommended.
