Vernon man killed in MVA near Parson
The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after a motor vehicle incident near Parson on Oct. 30.
Michael Christopher Swanson, aged 36, of Vernon was the driver and sole occupant of a small commercial transport truck that left the roadway, went down an embankment and rolled on Highway 95 about 35 kilometres south of Golden at Parson at about 6:45 a.m. on Oct. 30. Mr. Swanson was deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service, WorkSafeBC and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.
