Village wants to hear from residents
The Village of Radium Hot Springs is inviting residents to participate in a focus group to provide feedback on community arts, culture, leisure and recreational services and facilities.
“Seeking to ensure that current community spaces are the correct size and have the necessary amenities, features and services, the village envisions a multi purposes space for leisure activities such as dance, yoga, children/senior craft and recreation programs as well as space large enough to hold community dances, banquets and celebrations without duplicating other venues and community commercial spaces,” states a village release.
“This research is being undertaken as a Master’s Project and may be used to guide the village’s long range planning as we update the Radium 2020 Vision and goals and strategies under Section 3.5 outlines in the 2013 Official Community Plan Draft.”
Join village officials on Tuesday, September 24, at 6 p.m. at Radium’s Community Hall for a facilitated, interactive forum to discuss the community’s future community space needs.
