Water pressure drop possible
Cranbrook residents in the top end area of Park Royal and Mount Fisher may experience a slight reduction in water pressure tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday, Oct. 8).
The City of Cranbrook Public Works Waterworks team will be conducting some work on Pressure Reducing Station 6 on between 2 and 3 p.m. tomorrow and it may cause a reduction in water pressure, the city stated in a public advisory issued today (Oct. 7).
“Once the work is completed and the water pressure is returned to normal, those residents may experience some water discolouration. The discolouration is not considered a health concern,” said Chris Zettel, Corporate Communications Officer.
“Those residents are asked to run their cold water taps until the water runs clear,” he advises.
The City of Cranbrook apologizes for any inconvenience.
