Witnesses sought in pedestrian hit and run

Cranbrook RCMP are seeking witnesses or information about a hit and run that occurred Tuesday, Nov. 6 around 12:45 p.m.  A male subject was crossing 5th Street near 7th Avenue in Cranbrook when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver did not stop.

The male states he heard squealing tires and saw an older Cadillac, possibly an El Dorado, turning left in front of him. The vehicle struck him and he ended up on the side of the road. The driver was an older female. The pedestrian suffered non-life threatening injuries.
