An Ontario woman was killed yesterday afternoon when the three-wheel motorcycle she was riding on crashed near Wardner on Highway 3/93.

The RCMP’s East Kootenay Traffic Services and the BC Coroners Service are investigating the afternoon crash that claimed the life of the 61-year-old woman and landed the 63-year-old male driver in East Kootenay Regional Hospital.

RCMP report alcohol and speed did not play a role in the accident.
