Boil Water Notice for Holland Creek system rescinded
UPDATE: Effective immediately, Friday, March 24, the boil water notice has been lifted for the Holland Creek Water System.
Original story:
A Boil Water Notice is in effect for residents using the Holland Creek Water System, effective at noon (March 21).
Water intended for drinking, washing fruits or vegetables, making juice or ice, or brushing teeth should be boiled at a rolling boil for at least ONE MINUTE.
This notice is a result of the water being turned on at the PrairieWIND development and associated flushing and sampling.
The Boil Water Notice will be in effect until the required lab results are confirmed, the Regional District of East Kootenay reported.
