Construction season begins May 1 on Highway 93/95
Highway construction season is arriving soon in the Columbia Valley.
Okanagan Aggregates Ltd. (OAL) has announced it is beginning an asphalt resurfacing project on Highway 93/95 between the Canal Flats Bridge and Windermere.
Work will be taking place between May 1 and July 13 from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday except over the long weekends. The project covers 90.5 km of laneway.
Drivers can anticipate minimal delays with a single-lane-alternating traffic flow expected.
OAL said it will accommodate the passage of emergency vehicles through the work site “as safely and expediently as possible.”
