Columbia Valley Search and Rescue (CVSAR) responded to two calls Wednesday, August 20.

The first was for a report of overdue climbers. CVSAR members located the group safe and sound after they returned later than expected and bivouacked overnight.

Later in the day, CVSAR responded to a call for an injured mountain biker. The team located the patient, provided first aid, and transferred care to Emergency Medical Services.

Safety Reminder: Wearing bright, colourful clothing and gear can help rescuers find you more easily in an emergency.
